That's actually a pretty well-drawn autoloader compared to some stuff I've seen before.
The grip might look a bit flawed because of the angle (it almost seems like she's got her thumb behind the slide, which would mean that if she fires, her thumb will break), but otherwise looks pretty good! I don't see what you mean when you say "not doing it justice"... :)

Well, at the very least, I suspect it needs iron sights, though neither eye is sighting down where they would be. To offer an elaboration on Firebreath's thumb comment, I might suggest placing the thumbs together (i.e. have the offending thumb as shown here next to the "inside hand's" thumb); my recall is hazy, but I think that's one way to solve the issue.)

She is short for her age of 18 so she looks like a kid adding to her cuteness. Her partner Rally is the main gun toter. Gunsmith Cats is an anime and manga series. Look it up... it's worth watching.

The background looks kinda odd.
• The tiles on the side go the wrong way, perspective-wise
• The tiles in the back are oblong and the ones on the side are square
• The stairs' railing is kinda weird, on the right
• Why is there a drop shadow from the "5th Floor" panel?
• Your light source isn't consistent all the time, but you still did well enough, there :3
As for the character and weapon, no comments. You did those good :3
Tip:
• Place a light, you can also do this off-screen or crop the image later.
• Then, trace the light's path using the pen tool from the light's (outer) point(s), this works both in Photoshop as well as Painter, and I'm sure SAI has a similar tool.
• See how the shadow falls off an object onto a surface on the shadow side and draw it there.
If you want, I can elaborate on how shadows work, too. (it's really not that difficult)
