Everyone's gotta start somewhere. I still consider myself a fledgling developer learning rpg maker mv, and learning how the systems work in "Mysta's Openvore" and a lot of times this kind of stuff HAPPENS during the first couple of months/years of a mod or games release, but all I can say is that I'm doing the best I can to review feedback, and fix these issues.


I think you're doing a fine enough job for a first time author of RPGMaker, I'm not in that discord and the only purpose of my comment was to inform you of a bug.
In fact, if it were just that the character didn't have sprites I probably wouldn't have said anything, but because the game is looking for character sprites it repeatedly flashes that the character image couldn't load and makes the game entirely unplayable once you encounter one of these unfinished characters.

I would have put more than one blunt sentence in my original post but I was actively falling asleep and barely managed to type out what I did, so sorry if it came out as rude.

1. I'll have to look into that and fix it, I've been getting reports of that on the discord 2. You do not have to join the discord to get the new versions, the mediafire link is updated everytime I upload the next version (As it replaces the previous version)

So everything is amazing as i expected, but man...Mana and Michiru futa are so unfair, i was about to cry...please give them an unbirth option too...just a little request...

I found 3 new ones are those all or did i miss someone?


I remember adding 5, some of the pokemon have male variants so if you see two that look the same on a map, they may be different, also I'll probably be adding more male characters in the future.


ok i found one more but those are all pokemon and non of them are scalie or dragon like so its not intersting to me. may the future will change it but for now i am done. but holy shit you added a lot of stuff. nice work even if not like, for persons like me but i bet for everyone else its awesome :P

[Bug Fixes]

- Fixed issue with "Southwestern" to "Great Plains 1" transition causing a softlock

- Fixed issue with "Malon" where they would not appear regardless if it was day or night

- Fixed Issue with "Spooky" not remembering the player after meeting her

- Fixed "Hattie's" images displaying as "Gardetrap"

- Fixed "Scolio's" friends and enemies being incorrect

- Hopefully fixed "Valerie" missing her images this time

- Fixed "Sayaka" still being able to be interacted with despite getting vored by the player.

- Fixed "Felix's" cvbb and cvo images going unused due to mispelling

- Fixed "Nora" appearing twice at night

You may wanna look into the aggression levels of some of the added characters, they are outright impossible to speak with, without going hyper aggro.

Further you may wanna look into the code involving strangers and introductions, sometimes the introductions aren't taking on several characters.

Further is the resolution of a lot of these pictures and imagines do not hold up. At 600x480 there is pixelation on the edges of the imagines.

Lastly, you should look into a few extra imagines and extra text if you really wanna overhaul the vore system to extend the scenes for the following: during vore, during digestion/endo, and digestion scenes as well as post vore scenes beyond just wasting or relieving the remains but you may wanna consider the following with your level of talent:

Player as Prey or Pred sex scenes with people they are close with after digestion particularly for UB or CV (Both covering the partner in the cummified remains and having the partner drink or receive them)

Sex scenes with BV that involve drinking the milk the prey was turned into

found another map bug. If you're at night time and want to travel to the mountains, the roads don't properly work, taking you directly downtown, or to the crossroads. Only way to visit the mountain is to follow the path right next to your house.

Update-Map bug also happens during the day

Update 2-Spooky doesn't have any cock-vore art

i return form being a lurker due to my job existing an what do i see? this

two questions. one why>? two uuuuuh thanks i needed more materal to fap to lol. wonder what you changed XD (I hope that you have a better character creater an starting up isnt as brutal as normal game because lol biggest pain points causing me to stop or soft lock the default game lol.

Hey be kind. I write software in 16 bit i386 Assembly code that is compatible with a Motorola 6502 and MSDOS and Windows 3.11 just so i can do my cashier job. Why? My boss wont get anything newer "costs to much" So them not being able to do what i do (Ressurect Old pcs as workstations an new ones because people are idiots.

Loving this mod so far. Sure it's buggy. But so is the original game. That is to be expected when games are made by only one or a few people. Still, It is very good for what it is. Maybe even better the the original. I even left some suggestions on the discord. Keep up the good work.

Oh one very BIG Original Game bug that was never Fixed:

If Oral Vore is disabled
You may end up in a loop lock of an aggressive NPC grabbing you, you don't have the power/seduction to get them to let you go but Oral Vore is blocked so they just loop around the initial reaction.

Also with OV blocked, they will still OV you feet first sometimes.

Hey everyone just popping in here real quick to let you in on how I want the workflow to go with "Openvore Odyssey" and my other projects; I like working on mods, but there is a price to pay, and that is time, and lots of it, I will be structuring development like this: I will dedicate 1 week to working on stuff here, minus friday. Then the next week will NOT be dedicated to working on my projects here, so it'll be every other week (excluding friday) that I work on my stuff. This is so it doesn't monopolize all my time. I MAY decide to break this rule at any point though if I feel like it though. (Also I've read your bug complaints and have taken note of them, I'll work on fixing these.)

Trying to download the file leads to a site that my nord vpn is flagging the download as malware, im unsure if mediafire is trying to attach other files onto your download as i was rerouted a few times to the warthunder download page

That's not a bug, it literally tells you that if you disable it the game will not work

So here is what we in the programming world refer to as a bug that due to the nature of software we could care fuck all about fixing. Warning is there so you know but tbh fixing it is more work then just screaming that will break it an letting you deal with your decisions. (in this case i know it is fixibal its just a simple data arry that checks a data arry an pulls from what would be next in such a arry. RPG maker uses Javascript tbh i never understood why not fix it by replacing hardcoded modules with a varibule an make another module i mean i know myst at this point could do it but i dont think they care. for them i bet its more about volume of content then quality. TBH their ideas are good but ultamently i see their work as "proof of concept" an then just find something that uses its platform as a example for something good. a great way for something like open vore to be considered useful is that it basiclly gave a format for a lot of games these days. the whole here is a world your a pred or prey now do stuff. as for if mysts stuff is good? idk art an interpritation an such

With such large maps to explore, perhaps you should add an NPC or tool that tells you where certain characters are usually known to spend time at during the Day/Night. Just to help people quickly locate new characters or specific ones they know are somewhere and haven't found.

Hello, some said something about alternate images (the Obs with futas for example) I made alternate images for some characters (I like how michiru turned up) so I'll be uploading them here if you want to use those.

I did use GIMP for some, Tensor.art ai for others and a combination of both for others. (there is only 10 img at the moment of 3 characters so don't expect much)(this is a disclamer for those who don't like ai art)

I've not found all the characters that are in BASE Openvore, but I expect they are all here.

still a lot of bugs, pictures often overlap each other for many characters.

and the main mod would be adding new text, or even text generation.

also more conversation stages and more individuality of characters.
