To anyone with Japanese-to-English translation skills, providing English subtitles for this clip would be a great service to Rosanna Miho and a most wonderful tribute to her legacy. Closed-captioning with auto-translate into English couldn't catch up with everything she was saying. Given her experience, knowledge of metal, and mastery of the bass guitar, the insights shared here should be heard and comprehended by as broad an audience as possible. To me that is far more important than trying to discern a real reason why she left Lovebite. Many thanks in advance~
I remember that the three members of Rush had to have a heart-to-heart talk about Geddy's expanding use of synths in the early 80s, where Alex felt that it encroached on their core sound and they were losing their way as a band. As the vocalist and multi-instrumentalist for Rush, that was a hard pill for Geddy to swallow, but he valued the band's overall chemistry, and the band was able to press on. I think those conversations are critical, and Miho understood the importance of what she was saying against the backdrop of a precarious group chemistry.
Still love her though she's not with lovebites anymore..

Did you turn on CC subtitles in the RUclips settings and set it to English?
She euphemistically talks about how Miho's idea of Metal rock and LB's musicality have diverged. I was very worried because there are very few photos or videos of Miho and Miyako side by side.
@@junkgroovejunk Yes I remember seeing a behind the scenes video of them before she announced leaving. After the others arrived , Miho arrived and only really interacted with Midori and no one else. You could tell there was some tension. It was originally her idea and it was taken away.
2:00 I think this statement by MIHO is very meaningful, even saying, "I think the role of the bass player is becoming more important now."

ワー相変わらずのゴリゴリぶりでオヒサーという感じです。以下は独り言。ミホさんのバックトラッキングやエフェクトに関する意見はよく解ります。それではラブバイツから離れたのも必然ですね。ただ、私はあなたのオーソドックスなスタイルが大好きですが、ラブバイツが全く新しいメタルのスタイルを切り拓いて行くのも必然であり、素晴らしい事だと思います。
実際、後期高齢者である私の出発点はジーン・ビンセントであり、ファッツ・ドミノ、ジェリー・リー・ルイスです。当時はエフェクトと言えばギターならエコーとトレモロ、アンプでトレブルに寄るかベースに寄るかしかなくて、バカバカしいけどハワイアンのペダルを使うかなぁと考えただけでやらなかったり、大分後になってワウ・ペダルが主流になるとは・・・ベースなんて縦ベーですからね。ドラムはスネアとシンバル一つとハイハットやバスドラ、トムはあったりなかったり、そこから延々とつないできた身としては今のバッキングトラックを含むエフェクトに抵抗は感じません。
ある意味それはあなたが使うフットペダルの類と同類ですし、編集を含むエンジニアリングもその一部だと思います。ただ、演者の能力を超える“創作”の域はどうかなと思います。そういう意味でラブバイツのストリングスや多い時には二本分のチャギングなどのバッキング・ギターはレイヤーを増やして音に厚みを増すエフェクトの延長として現在の音楽の在り方だし必要要素だと思います。ただ、あなたのオールドスクールなスタイルとは方向性が違ったようですね。それはそれで現在のミホさんとラブバイツの道のりは当然のことと思います。どちらが良いというものではなく、スタイルの違いということですね。

ベースの存在意義ってTLRSでも話題になったけど、HR/HMにはライブパフォーマンスも考えると必要なパーソンだし、ベースメインやベースソロの楽曲があればバンドの色もバリエーションも広がるからね。
それよりMihoちゃんのパフォーマンスのルーツと檸檬堂がお気に入りなのが知れて良い回だった🤘😆🔥🔥🔥

イギリスに居た事あるけど、JAZZのライブを観に行った時に一番カッコよかったのはベーシストだった。ドラムが合わせてギターがリズムだったのでベーシストが主役になるのがJAZZというジャンルなのかなぁ〜と思った。

お金払って観に来て頂いてるのに演者が地蔵。最初は遠慮してメンバーに合わせなきゃと思っていました。また演奏が必死で余裕すらありませんでした😅
また有名な方々のバックでやらせて頂いても、何も言われませんが目が怖いんです😂
しかし余裕も出てきたせいもありますが、バンマスの許可を得て動いてパフォーマンスするようになり、楽しいし観客も喜んでくれるとスタイル変えて良かったと思いました😆👍

バイツファンですが、同期演奏には同意しない派です。完成度は高くなるかもしれませんが、これを突き詰めると 極論 アテフリでいい事まで行くのでは？それぞれ考えはあるだろうが、ここはmiho女史を支持します。これは音楽志向の相違とは違うかもしれませんが。

The only thing I learned is that she likes to choreograph her head banging with the music, sort of like girl j-pop bands do their dancing. To be honest, it's kinda ridiculous. Metal should be natural, not synced with the music and other members.
