Rivoltas are much cooler than Novos imho
I agree! Much nicer styling IMO.
Rivoltas definitely have some special mojo going on! But what puzzles me is that the Rivoltas now come with a hardshell case, whereas the more expensive Novos come with a gig bag...
(sigh) if I could play guitar I would play like that…

😢 Miss the esthetics of the original model. Like some of the ergonomics of the update, though.

I feel very conflicted about it, too. The neck and pickguard seem like upgrades, but I'm not crazy about the selector switch location and lack of a trem option. The original P90s were already great, so I'm not sure why they redesigned them. A good upgrade would have been locking tuners, but I guess that's not everybody's cup of tea. Ultimately, I'm glad I have the old design, even though I'm sure the new one is still killer!
