Manasi Pradhan (born 4 October 1960) is an Indian women’s rights activist .[1] and author. She is the founder of OYSS Women. [2] She also heads the Honour for Women National Campaign in India, a nationwide movement to end violence against women.[3]
She is widely known for her work in the field of women empowerment and gender justice and for championing the issues of women in global forums. [4] she is a long-time advocate for gender equality. In 2012, she was conferred with the Outstanding Women Achiever award for her work for rights of women.

She is also an author and poet. Several of her books has been translated into different languages of the world.[7]She is also serving on the panel of Central Board of Film Certification (Censor Board) for India.[8]

Activism
editCurrently, Manasi Pradhan is heading a nationwide campaign to end all form of violence against women and secure their economic and social empowerment.[12][13]
