No assertion of notability. Livna-Maor (talk) 22:59, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep She's apparently the first Asian woman to reach the South Pole [1]. There are a good number of articles about her at Google News. Zagalejo^^^ 23:29, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep 13,600 ghits. SpinningSpark 00:46, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete First aisan woman, althought is a first, is not that worthy. Are there articles for the first men and woman of every continent? L-Tyrosine (talk) 00:48, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Keep per meeting the WP:GNG with significant coverage in reliable sources: [2], [3], [4], [5], [6], [7]. Jfire (talk) 01:09, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete or Merge The source is reliable but this article is destined to be a one or two sentence stub. It doesn't merit a separate article at present. Perhaps its better to merge with polars explorers? --Artene50 (talk) 03:32, 25 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Why is it destined to remain a stub? There's ample material available. Zagalejo^^^ 19:28, 25 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Ahem 666 word biography[8], 308 word article on the journey[9]. That's far more than a stub from just two of the 13,600 ghits mentioned above picked more or less at random. Did you actually look at any of the potential sources before you made that statement? SpinningSpark 21:41, 25 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
